..my name is Amanda and I can't wait to get to know you!  When I began New Roots Photography, it was my dream to capture moments in people's lives so that they might have them forever and I have been having a blast doing that for the last three years!  From weddings to babies, seniors to soccer and practically everything in between, there really isn't much I won't dive right into.

I am obsessed with the color sea glass, tuly love editing, can spend hours in a craft store and believe that a girl can never own too much nail polish or pretty necklaces. I am full of life with a dash of crazy, committed to finding beauty, can talk your ear off about David Tutera, and I listen to TSwift, Glee and Christina Perri on repeat. I have been planning my own wedding since I was in the womb, can never edit in order (I get too excited!), can't go a day without Sweet Tea or coffee and believe in every day second chances.  I am blessed with the best partner in the world, have the most wonderful and supportive friends ​and I feel most at home behind a camera.  I didn't go to school to be a photographer, I actually went for Psychology and let me tell you, it comes in handy when there are wars between mother and bride and little kids and my camera!  I believe in honesty, giving back, loving everyone, laughter, mistakes and that you can never have too much On the Border.  I will cry at every wedding and ever maternity shoot because no matter how many I do, new beginnings are beautiful.​​
